While the new 10C is, indeed, module-based, it does have all-new processors that are much faster than those in the 9C-series. After all, technology moves on. The faster processing reduces the lag seen when you have functions on the model controlled by different channels, such as dual elevator servos. The faster processing also removes the interaction seen on CCPM helicopters when moving the cyclic and pitch controls.

You also get the great advantage of being able to use your system in a wide variety of applications because you can easily change frequency bands by simply changing the module. The module, itself, does not slow down the system at all.
