I only bent one upper plastic head and that was my first flight. After that I have never broken or bent one. I also have never broken the lower rotor head. The reason I kept the swashplate is because the aluminum one is more accurate. With enough pressure near the links it will flex with the stock.

I broke my lowers trying to land on narrow landing areas, like a box or bench. If I'm off just a bit, or it drifts a little as I cut throttle, the lower blades hit first. Guess I should stick to wider flat surfaces for a while longer or find a foam bench. LOL. Good for gaining experience tho! Good point on the alu swashplate too. Thanx.
