I use an AXI 4130/16 so I can't comment on the Hacker, with the 4350FP 6S on a 16x10 APC I can get 9mins of all out holigan flying or 12mins of straight aerobatics.

Big difference between 172amd and my set up, I am only pulling 45amps, weight is 5lb 4onz, with unlimmited vertical and very good pull out from the prop hang.

Don't know how you managed to need weight in the tail, and at that weight its no wonder you find the gear soft.
What is the weight of your batteries?
