I am still learning about batteries it seems and have recently tried an esky 1800MaH battery with a C rating of 15C in my new Trex 450V2. My Trex came with the supplied motor and ESC, which is 35amps (I believe). If I am doing the math right, this battery will only put off 27amps (1,800 X 15 = 27,000) which is underpowered for the 35 amp ESC.

I have recently purchased some Kong Power 25C batteries at 2100Mah for an output rating of 52.5amps. If I am understanding everyone correctly, this higher amperage is better for the ESC and motor.

So my question is, after running a few cycles in my Trex on the esky battery, could I have damaged or weaked the ESC or Motor?

PS...I noticed the motor and esc were hot to the touch with the esky battery, but not with the supplied Align battery.
