I have flown the Lanier 40% 540T quite a bit, as well as most of the other brands of Edges (Carden, Aeroworks) and I agree with Jason that this kit is every bit as capable as any of the others. I know of several guys who have built these in the 35-37 lb. range. The great thing is that this kit can be bought for 300-400 dollars less than the competitor's. I think this is going to be my winter building project. BTW, the aircraft builds similar to the Aeroworks with lite ply fuse sides, formers and stringers, with foam flying surfaces. Having studied the plans it looks like an easy build.
