The + on EXPO makes it less sensitive around the center and - makes it more sensitive around the center. You are going to have some very slow response of the pitch with 33%. Do you have two settings for the travel adjustment for each option? There should be one for the servo going down and one for the servo going up. I used the travel adjustment to limit the pitch and kept the swash mix up to 60% and it is pretty stable.
