Hi all,

Went to the LHS earlier, and picked up a K&S rotor blade balancer, figuring if I'm gonna get into the hobby, I might as well have the correct tools...I know balancing the blades can be done with stuff from the hardware store, but I had some money burning a hole in my pocket....

Anyways, I got it home, went to set it all up (the thing is very cool, nice ball bearings, hardware, made in Japan...), and the pins that they give you are WAY too big for Eflite rotor blades, the smallest pin is 3MM, and the hole in the blade root is probably half that size. I was wondering if anyone has run into this? I really like the balancer, and would like to use/keep it for sure.

I imagine if I go to the LHS and look at the DuBro hardware, I may be able to find a small bolt that is the same size (I'm guessing it's like 1. 5 MM?) as the Eflite rotor blade bolt, but longer, and fashion some kind of an adaptor to fit it to the balancer...

Just wondering if anyone else has come across this? Worst case, I guess I'll have to take it back, but I sure do like it!
