Yes you can plug in a power source on any servo position.

My Hawk has 2 power leads through 2 switches to 1 battery.
I have this system plugged into the 14 channel rx.
No problems.

With regard to servos, my Hawk is all hitec, and running on a 14 RX, again, I have no issues.
