Updated Pictures...

OK, the yellow red and black scheme really appealed to me ( everyone likes the Honda scheme ) so I this instead with the intention of changing some of the graphics to personalize the plane. Right from the time I opened the boxes and saw those black stripes I hated them. Then when I saw that almost all of them were peeled up a bit a the points I knew I was going to remove them.

Here are the pictures of the progress so far, stripes being removed, and new scheme going on. the big red area on the wings once the stripes were gone just screamed for checkers. The look really good from about 3 feet or more but my inexperience in laying down monocote and working with an iron shows. BUT... I am really happy with it and will start on the second wing tomorrow. I also plan to run a blue 1/4" blue stripe on the delineation line on the wings between the yellow and the checked area. Tail and elevators will get a bit of checkering too I think. Still a work in progress and will have to see how the plane looks with the wings on. don''t want to overdue it on the checkers
