i ve been looking at out boards lately ( i think thats the way im gunna go) i think im going to use the Graupner GTX-650 with 600 Race 7.2 Motor from offshore electrics.com on a 20 inch hull with a ProBoat ESC (4-10 cells w/ reverse). has anyone used or know anything about it? is it a good outboard? what batteries do i need for this motor? can i use a 6 or 7 cell battery out of my buggy or does it need more than that? are trim tabs and turn fins still needed with an outboard? i really appreciate your help on this project.
