I am the Ecuatoriam Team Manager form the last world championship in Argentina, it was in tha oportunity where the South American group talked about the importance of having a regional meet en the years where the are no world championships,this year being the specific case. It was because of this everyone was exited and I got the idea of collect everybodies email, and then I sent an email to all and received answers only form John, pilot from Suriname and Jorge Olivela "Viruta" designer and FAI judge from Argentina.

Colombia offer themselves due to all the instalations appropiate in their camping club where the field is located, they have hotel and is also in the city of Medellin. It is of my understanding the Colombian people is looking for sponsorship to cover the cost of living and food for the pilots so more people will be willing to go there, and that is the reason for the delay, if it hapens that way it will be better for everybody.

Nevertheless,being Ecuator one of the promoters of this idea, we are in the oprational capacity of perform an event of this nature if Colombia can not, Ecuator will take the initiative and it will be held in October. So we will wait until April 20th for Colombia official statement.

We do belive in do this event of open nature and have USA and Canada and why not people from other continents, what matters is give that step forward and take ourselves from this lethargy.
