Ok here''s the gear. I tried to follow Floyd''s plan but my over-engineering got the best of me. The LG is made by TNT from 5/16" 6061, wheels are 8.5" from a mountain skate board. They come with 10mm bearings and I''ve inserted bushing I made at home from stock bought from Aricraft Spruce. The fuselage where the LG attaches is not quite 1/4inch ply with a 1/8 door skin doubler. I used a 2 inch wide by 3/4 inch fir backer for the LG. There are a couple of 3/4 inch plywood clamps on the end to help spread dynamic loads to the doublers. Its all glued and screwed together. It''s attached with six 10-24 cap screws with nylock nuts. The tailwheel needs more work. I manufactured it from 1 1/2in x 1/4 in 6061 bar stock. I didn''t get it bent as nicely as TNT. The caster frame is cut from 3/32 in 3003 and also needs some correction. Thats a 4" Dubro wheel but it wan''t ment for a tail wheel. I''m probably going to need to drill it out an put in a brass tube insert.
