RE: first rc build
ok. basically my teacher wants me to design and build an rc boat that handles good and is fairly quick. ill be cutting out a hull on the school''s CNC machine and making a mold and final fiberglass hull from that. the machine can only cut out stuff up to 20 inches long so im limited on size. the main purpose of this is to have something cool that my teacher can show to the grade nines next fall so they can see what what kind of stuff they could do in this class. so im trying to keep it on the less complicated side. i hope that answers your question. right now im trying to decide what kind of drive system to use that has a scale look but still gets me reasonable speeds (hopefully 20 or 25mph+ if posible) with a relatively simple setup. will i achieve this with a graupner Z drive or outboard?
thanks
