I have asked this on the Futaba forum but wondered if anyone here has tried plugging a battery into the data port of the R608fs? Is this socket on the same power bus as the rest of the sockets? It would be very handy if it was.

I find it odd that neither Bax in the US or the Ripmax service centre in the UK have any idea what this socket is for[:@]
