Default RE: Travelair 2000 Bipe Info

John, Thanks for the reply. Yes my Travelair has the typical Fokker upper wing, and rudder, each with balanced control surfaces. The cowl looks like it would cover an inverted V-8 engine, as it has 2 humps on the top of the cowl. The lower wing is pretty much typical with about 3-4 degrees of deheidral, and it has dual cockpits. As noted in my original post I picked it up at the Perry Georgia swap meet this spring. After I got really looking at it and saw the Fokker style upper wing I thought "what-the-_ _ _ _ is this. My best buddy was in an Orlando hobby shop about 10 days ago and found my exact same airplane. That's how I found out it was a Travelair 2000. Unfortunatley the owner doesn't have any info on the model. I do plan on going down and check it out this weekend. So between Bill Northrop and the hobby shop I hope to get the numbers I need. Also the airframe is in excellent condition, covered with silkspan. I can't wait to get her in the air. Again John, thanks for the positive lead for Bill Northrop.
