Just thought I'd let you know about my spring project.
Im not rich enough to buy a jet right now but I always look at rcu in awe and dream but anyway.
Some time ago I bought a used kyosho 15 df unit in top condition and have planned to build a jet to put it in but typical me never quite got round to it, but today a bought a westwings BAE hawk. I know its meant for electric power,,, dare I say that on here? I intend to fit the unit in the hawk. I do hope it will fit. I laid the unit over the plan on my bed and there does seem room. Oh I also recently bought a spectrum dx6i, had to really, now got all my 35mhz stuff dumped in the cupboard,bless em. I do plan to fix extremely simple and light fixed u/c, I cant stand the ordeal of bungee or javelin throwing the little beast.
If anyones interested I hope to keep a diary/thread of the build. Any input regarding my decision with the micro d/f unit etc would be appreciated.
