I predict you will see a linear gain in overcharge up to a point of damage. My guess would be 4.5 volts and go from there up or down. The gain should be about the same gain in percentage as if you compared a 4 volt resting to 4.2 resting. I understand about 4.3 or 4.35 to be the absolute max for lipo, but we all know how to push the limits. How else are we gong to know? [>:]

I can try to do the same test , I have to see which cell I don't care too much about.

Basically your saying to start the race with a resting voltage higher than the next guy (start with 9 volts perhaps and womp on the guy using 8.4) I'm sure it advantagous becuase the discharge graph isn't a flat line, it continues to drop voltage as capacity is used.
