Danny Gayhart of Poway California showed us a new method of fake stitches on his ΒΌ scale Cub. Danny attached the tapes with Poly-Brush, then applied the stitches with White Glue on top of the tapes. While completely opposite the full scale method, they look beautiful. Any white glue or aliphatic resin will work. Remember, you just want the hint of a stitch, not an obnoxious bulge in the tapes.

Just cut a "Tee" pin to the width you want the stitch and apply the glue about 1/2" apart for quarter scale. You only want a hint of the stitch, not a bold thread standing on top of the finishing tape.
