Basically your saying to start the race with a resting voltage higher than the next guy (start with 9 volts perhaps and womp on the guy using 8.4) I'm sure it advantagous becuase the discharge graph isn't a flat line, it continues to drop voltage as capacity is used.
Yeah and what I'm seeing is that that advantage carries over for at least 20 seconds, which, all else being equal, should allow you pull ahead of the pack, esp. if starting side-by-side on a straight in the mains.
