I recently purchased a Goldberg Extra 300 and am building it for 3D, modifying the build as I go. My question is if anyone has experience with this plane with different engines, I want a four stroke but dont know which has enough power to hover this plane efficiently? Will a Magnum 1.20 do it? O.S. 1.20? Enya 1.55? I would rather keep the cost down by not buying to logical choice, a YS as I have many projects going at once. Any input on this and or engine/prop combos that work or kit mods to consider as I build would be appreciated. Any experience with constructing the tail feathers as built up airfoils instead of slab?
