My Showtime was from the first run of kits and my rudder horn hole is drilled lower than what is in you picture. The nut washer is very close to the rounded part of the rudder. Mine misses by 1/8 inch at full deflection. I would just plug & re-drill the threaded rod hole. Should be a quick fix.
