Many thanks for the suggestion. I've done the prop off run in. I
think now I have sorted the problem out.

I was a little confused by the instructions that came with the ESC,
which said that only some of the range had BEC included. The notes did not specify the 350 as having the facility, so I had both the Flight battery and the Receiver battery installed.

Removing the Recever battery from the set up has cured the cutting out and the motor appears to have a greater rpm range.

With a bit of luck, weather-wise, I should be able to go to the
flying field that is used by the local Club on Sunday and introduce
myself and see if they will allow me to join and give me some
instruction.

I me a couple of the members in the model shop I bought my kit from amd they said I would be most welcome and that they would be delighted to train me.

The weather here is bad just now, with heavy rain, high winds and temperates of around 9 celcius. Hope it gets better as Monday is our May Day public holiday, so no work!
