RE: Cen Genesis So/So Dissapointment
I am sorry to hear you are having problems with your truck. As with all manufacturers, occasionally a bad one passes through QC.
I have had no issues with my truck except the typical things newbies encounter. I have had my Genesis since 2005 and it is still going strong. I haven't driven her much because I am starting to get into racing but she is a Beast of a Monster Truck and a blast to drive.
All my R/C car are CEN products. I am loyal to CEN for 1) their affordablilty. 2) their dependability (I haven't had any major issues with the cars I have. Most of the problem I have had have been user error) and 3) they provide great customer support. When I was starting out in this hobby and I was having the typical newbie problems, they helped me a lot through their forums and e-mails. At one point, I was like some of you and I was very close to selling my Genesis and Matrix. I am glad I didn't beacause I really enjoy this hobby and I am looking forward to spending some father/son time with my boy when he is old enough.
If you have sent an e-mail and it has gone unanswered, you should try giving them a call. I am sure they receive tons of e-mails daily and a phone call to a representative would bea faster way of dealing with the problems you are having with your truck.
I would be a bit upset if I didn't get my truck back in the same condition that I sent it. I would expect at the very least, that they could have...NO...should have put everything back to its stock position. Good luck and I hope you can get these issues resolved
