Default RE: Bashing an old trainer

ORIGINAL: Campgems

I bashed my trainer, after crashing it. It was a Laniar Explorer 40 that I put into a rail fence resulting in the second photo. I salvaged the wing and buitl a stick type fuse for it. I extended the tail by 1 1/2" and the nose by 2". Made a really nice flying plane. I lost it in the creek bed behind the field where it layed for about four months. In the mean time, I had a second wing, so I built another fuselage and flew it for a while longer before descovering the fence. That one trashed the wing so bad that I coppied and scaled down my 4*60 wing and cut most of the dhydrial out. That was a great flying plane. Untill "The Crash" I still have part of the fuselage and am thinking about building it out again.

Well I have cut the wing, and cut some new braces for it, I already converted it into a tail dragger. I am also thinking of putting an old, powerful OS 61 SF in the front, it will just fit. I will have lots of power for what will be a trainer bashed into a Stick.

I am not flying this week or weekend, so I think that I will have it ready to go when I am out a couple of weeks from now.

I will post a couple of picks soon.
