Default RE: Nitro Models Pitts-40 Special Design

Ok Took the servos out got he battery moved back finally under the servos and it balances out to 4 inches behind the leading edge of the top wing. So i'm going to go fly it. Wensday Suppose to be clear. Hope it flys good. It will eighther fly or crash. Think i'll strap a camera to it. For an inflight video of its maiden in case it doesn't make it back at least i'll have a record of its first and last flight. Lets hope it just its first flight and not its last. I install alot of confidence in my flying abilities. This will be the first time i ever flew a nito powered pitts biplane. My other biplane i didn't have very good luck with. Lets hope this one is better.

Just have to remember easy on the elevator on take off and landing and landing is hot comes in fast to avoid tips stalls.

You'll need to keep quiet a bit of speed on when you bring it in for a landing, as it will tip stall in a heartbeat!!! I have 4 successful flights on mine so far and bring it in around 1/4 throttle till its right over the runway and then bleed it the rest of the way off for a nice 3 point landing.
Definetly will try and do.
