Default RE: looking for speed model

ORIGINAL: kiosk

I have the OS75ax already on there, so only need tuned pipe.

So the prop part is where my ignorance comes in because I thought pitch is more relevant for speed?? anyways I moved down to 12x10 and now is in 12k range, not even close to 16k by a long shot, do i need larger smaller prop or pitch for speed??
The 75AX likes to run around 13,000 rpm on the top limit.

Select a prop/pipe/exhaust setup that gets to that number and you will see pretty much its best performance. It is not a 16000+ rpm engine.

As for a speed choice.....
my turn-key easy speed setup......
GP Viper
TT 46-pro
Jett Muffler
9x7 or 8.75x8W prop
clip 5" off of each wing panel at the tip to cut the wingspan by 10".
Results: 130+ mph, very good handling plane, reasonable landing speed, no bad habits - not expensive.
