what do you mean ((opened up the reed valve)??
Did you in large the carb to the reed valve passage because of the larger carb or what? thanks

The carb was a perfect match to the intake, but I modified the intake to a trumpet shape, and fitted a new reedpetal made from 0.15mm shimmetal.
I also adjusted the reedstop to 3-3.5mm.
I dont know what rpm Ryobi recommend, but the Stihl FS36 manual says 10 000rpm max.
