Motors are tough to compare. The easiest motors to compare are ones with similar physical attributes, that is, size, weight and type (inrunner and outrunner). That brings the comparison down to two factors:

1. Kv or RPM/Volt rating
2. Build quality

The higher the Kv rating, the more powerful a motor will be with a given prop and battery. When the difference becomes dramatic, it is likely that one motor will either burn up from being overloaded, or will not produce any useful output from being underutilized.

In your example, the motors are apples and oranges. The Hacker configuration will be more powerful because the motor has a higher Kv rating and is turning a bigger prop. These are only two of the many options for powering the plane, specifically configured to give two levels of performance.
