With the cost of gasoline going so high...why convert to gas in this small engine size? If you want a slow idle...use a heavy prop and prop hub, which will act more like a flywheel. You can also look around and get electronic ignitions real cheap. With electronic ignition, the engine should just tick over on idle (even using glow fuel) !!! Capt,n[)]
Gas is nowhere near the cost of glow fuel. I got rid of all my glow engines because,
My sinuses can't take the burnt glow fuel, I am one of the fuel that thinks burnt glow fuel stinks anyway.
I don't have to deal with the slop anymore.
Gas isn't $12.00-$18.00 a gallon.
Gas engines are more economical in that they don't burn fuel as fast as a glow engine.
Anyway a small gas engine is just cool.

Also, about the cost of the BME .90, they have to make a custom crankshaft, connecting rod and piston.
$369.00 is not that bad a price when you consider what goes into it and that they back their engine.
