Actually, I have found the plastic wrap from the kitchen drawer works quite well. You have to pin or tape it down because it so thin, but glues do not stick to it. About anything, in my opinion, works better than wax paper. Wax paper was fine when we were build with Ambroid and carpenters glue but does not work very well with CA.

If you cover with Monokote, save the backing when you cover your wings. The backing works very well as a plan protector. Great Planes sells a product for protecting plans as well and have heard that it is the same stuff used for Monokote backing.
