Default RE: Fuel

Hi Irish.

We've got rain. Raining since Saturday. And, you know politicians... we will still be in drought conditions no matter how much rain we get. Gotta tax us.. GOod old NJ.

AAAAAanyway.. sorry about that rant, it's interesting living in this state after living in several others throughout my CG career.

I finally fixed my Skylark nose gear. I think I may have told you about that, but anyway, two of the bolts came loose, one fell out. So, I had to take the fuel tank and engine out. Pain in the butt with that Skylark, but this time I put some locktite on the nuts before tightening them down. Yeah, should have done that in the build.. oops, assembly.. process (it's an ARF) but I forgot and that caught up to me.. no crash or anything, just that I wanted to fly more than one flight last week.. ha.. and I didn't have my tools with me that day.

I've been looking at that US 60 that the guys have been talking about. It may be my next winter project. I have to finish my Something Extra first. It's about 1/4 finished. I just need to take the time and get it done.

Ok, take care, my friend, and don't worry.. you will get spring weather one of these days.. as we will here.
