Default Needle limiters on .46 evalution engine?

I have the .46 evalution engine that came with my alpha 40 trainer and as you may already know they comes with these nifty little needle limiters that prevent newbies from tuning the engine "to far". Well since I live at a high altitude area (central oregon), I have to lean my engine out quit a bit to get it running correctly. My flight instructor tells me nothing but complaints about the needle limiters and believe me he knows what hes talking about (he owns a hobby shop). So my question is, since I do know how to tune my engine correctly, should I take the limiters off for good, or just leave them on? If I should take them off, how, or can I have a link to a website that shows how to remove them?

Thanks in advance,
Tyler
