RE: throttle set up
Many good radios allow for setting "throttle curve", because you get a bigger change in RPMs/click in the low range, and after about 1/2 throttle you may have to use 2 or 3 clicks for the same RPM increase.
I also like fine control, so I use the very smallest servo arm, and the very outside hole on the throttle arm, whatever it takes to get 100 or better on each side. I also turn the rachet over on the throttle. This way you are not limited to a "click" and is the way helicopters are set up on throttle/collector.
