Well done with the first flight! I have seen Keith's F-16 fly several times so I expected you to have no problems. If the oleos are the same as in the Rafale, then yes they are way too soft. With the plane upside down I took mine apart by undoing the anti rotation link. The nuts were locked with super glue but did undo ok. When it is taken apart you will find a plastic plunger with a rather weak spring on it. You may find that the oil could do with topping up. The easiest way I found to stiffen the spring was to add a second spring inside the first and just happened to have 2 in my box the right size. This helped a lot. However with a P80 you may well need to replace the outer spring with something stronger if you can fit one in. Do post a note if you find a way to get it stiffer.
