Ok Submikster, sounds like you're off to a good start. You may not need a second battery for the retracts if you have a 1800 mah flite pack. I use a HydraMax 2000mah 6v for my Hangar 9 60 warbirds with mech. retracts with plenty of battery capacity to run the servos. An extra pack may work ok if you need some weight up front.
