If you absolutely want a Corsair to fly R/C, consider 2 other options:
The GWS foam plane, covered with low temp film,

I have been building and flying R/C for 35 years, and converting (and flying!) the Guillows
Corsair kit would be a challenge, & I have almost 90 R/C planes under my belt.
