Hi Schrage, when I got my GST, all the guys here advised me to get the Hitec 5955TG servo for the steering and to run a battery hump pack instead of normal AA batteries. It does take a bit to turn the wheels of this big truck, but with these upgrades, I haven't had a problem with steering since. Good Luck
