No one is encourging you to sell your model - any building experience is good experience. It's just that the Guillows Corsair is not a good first plane to learn to fly with.

AP is the brand name. The AP Wasp is a Chinese knockoff of the early model NORVEL. The AP .061 is the only throttled 1/2A glow engine currently in production. Probably the best throttled 1/2A glow was the NORVEL, but they are no longer in production and thE Bay prices are skyhigh.
