I had the same thing happin..sort of..

I was showing my father how to fly his beautiful Magister. He was making a right turn and the plane was facing him. As I started to grab the "box" from him, feeling he was confused (because of opposite control thingy and some wind) the plane started its ...five pounds of weight desent from about no more than 15 feet. As I tried to throttle and pull it of trouble, BAM! The motor and its supports, the prop, the front part of the balsa support for the wing, a survo horn for the right side and the screw support for the landing gear was damaged. I think my leveling the plane three feet from the ground saved it from the cart wheel it wanted to do...

The plane has been rebuilt and painted a medium blue with canary yellow control surfaces...island vaction colors[)]
He is shell shocked and gazes at his nice paint job until he cooks up his nerves to fly again.
