Default RE: Have you ever purchased a used trasnmitter to save money?

I've picked up great deals on used 72Mhz units here at RCU's marketplace.

I've paid a few hundred on gear that would have cost me thousands.

e.g. 3 x JR XP8103DT AIR's, 2 x 7203's, 1 - S10's, etc.

All of these were sent to JR for a check up, to make sure that there were no problems with them. JR's service turned them all around in a couple of weeks. JR charged me all of 9.00 for a new faceplate and bezel on one.

These are far better TX's than "entry level" models, and I paid less for them than say a typical SX600.

Thus far the sellers I've deal with have been reputable and honest.
