Default RE: Sig Four Star 60

I built the kit version last year and enjoyed it thoroughly. Did most of the recommended mods, clipped wings, bigger rudder, Sullivan tailwheel, etc. It flew great until I pile-drove it into the ground one sad evening. I recently replaced it with an ARF version and it flies great as well but with it's longer wings, it's indeed a floater during landing. I like the way the clipped-wing version approaches and lands much better and I'll probably be hacking up my new wings in the future. I also noticed that the new one flies just fine with the stock sized rudder. By moving the CG back a tad compared to my previous model, it will hold a knifedge with no problem, so I'm not sure I'd repeat the rudder mod. Just my opinion. Good luck with yours. They are nice, fun planes however you set them up.
