I was determined (to say the least) to finish the wing of the Cub i was working on last wkend.
however, being the typical teenager void of patience, i decided to foolow through with this plan on sunday evening, having put it off before.
now, i had already finished the other half of the wing and the first one's general outcome was nice, 4 sure, despite the one piece i accidentally sanded too much...
needless to say, i plowed ahead with the second wing, and eventually discovered the spar was too short for the rib at the end, about 1-2 mm, leaving a small indent in the rib where the spar went into the rib. i considered bending the rib inward to fit over the spar, but decided finally to just glue what was hanging over the spar and fill in the indent with sawdust.
