Nascar fan.....?
I'll watch Nascar but only because it's racing. I prefer the American Le Mans series, Aussie V-8 Supercars, rallying and such. Oval racing can be boring but the new car has proved interesting.....we do need more road courses though.
But, Rockingham, reconfigured and under the lights will be good......I'm watching the Busch race as we speak.
Storm damage was minimal but 1/4 mile away there was havoc.
I was outside in my porch watching the lightning at 2300 when the sheriff's office called for residents to go into their basements 'cos there was a nasty in the area. Said nasty missed us but microbursts did some local flattening. More damage done by lightning though I believe.
Got three nice hobby stores to visit tomorrow. None of them retail the HBK2...plenty of e-flight and align. Need two more spare batteries and some electrical advice.
I've railroad stuff to buy anyway.
Got the new loco yesterday so I gotta create some dual gauge trackage (HO/HOn3) so it can run. Now I have two small articulated steamers....no diesels allowed.
Possible airtime tomorrow.
