Incidence readings?
I recently borrowed an incidence meter from a fellow club member.
Here are the readings:
With the tail surface "leveled", I took a reading of the main wing and got +.5. The motor read +1.5.
The plane requires about 3 clicks of up elevator to fly level. In the air the plane requires down elevator in rolls and pulls "up" (towards canopy) in knife edge. Can I assume that I need to adjust both ailerons to get 0 on the meter and shim the motor to get 0 on that as well?
It's a Balsa USA Stingray built with no wing dihedral. It's got an Irvine .53 for a motor.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
