HI All
I have a G26 converted by ralph. The engine has been setting around for about a year.
I mounted it on a test stand and it would not start, so I tried to trouble shoot it. Charged the battery, changed the spark plug. Upon testing the plug to see if it would spark, I was zapped by the plug wire, so there is/was ignition. I hooked a 12 volt voltage tester and it did not light up (maybe too little voltage between the plug wire and ground)'
Does anyone have any suggestions of more troubleshooting/suggestions?
I even tried to start it with a starter to with no change, could I disable the electronic ignition or just send it back to Ralph?
Thanks in advance
Bill
You probably blew the ignition up with your meter. What made you think the ignition needed further testing after it knocked you on your ass? Ralph will probably repace it. But you're a ........
