Okay ... went to the field this morning and tached her, I got about 34,000 RPM, that gives me a 150+ mph pitch speed. I wonder how much of that translates to the air speed. How does she fly on 4S compared with 3S?

Upon launch I can see that the higher wing loading is obvious, she wants to roll to the left now despite being launched at about 50% throttle only. Hence, launch air speed is lower. I can feel that the FJ is sluggish, I went for a couple of mins of easy flight then I opened up the throttle. You can hear the baby scream! Came in for a pass and I was disappointed, it was faster than the 3S set up but I estimate maybe an extra 15 mph max. In turns she is no longer as nimble as before, I am still on the ESky servos so I am rather careful but the higher wing loading now makes her sluggish. Flying slowly is different now too ... the wing was about to stall a few times on me, I cannot cruise as slow as on a 3S anymore.

I ran her for a few passes and I would love another 30 mph if possible. Increase in power is about 200W but increase in speed maybe only 15 mph. Sad man ... I wonder if I should bother with a 6S set up anymore ...
