Thanks Mike. Yeah, it was worth the wait. Some things just can't be rushed. Not that it was hard to build, problem is I'm too damn picky. I probably made 3 of every part in that plane. The first part fit good, the second one fit better, the third one just a little better than the second one so that's the keeper... If anyone wants to look through my scrap wood pile there's probably another "good" airplane in there! LOL Remember this was one of the first "kits" out there (yeah it took me THAT long to finish it). This had NO laser cut parts. Just a few "Melissa CAM" formers and ribs. I lost a few good people while I was building this too (Grandma, Kathy and my Dad to name a few) so I took some time off during the process. I wish my Dad was still here - he taught me how to carve balsa and this plane is a good testament to his teaching prowess. With all the stuff I learned from this one (my first 2-meter build), my VF-3 should be REALLY sweet! Stay tuned...
