Today I had my First Flight ! Me and my dad brought the radios out to the field, but, my instructor couldn't make it out . I got my Nexstar out, fueled her up, and my dad flew it. We watched other people fly and up the driveway came my dad's friend "The Nexstar Expert", (w/ 200 + flights on it). So, we got the buddy box hooked up and my dad and his friend went up first to make sure everything was okay. Then I was called over, I took the radio ; the words "you got the plane" came out of my dad's mouth and I was flying. I'm officialy hooked After flying, I now see that the sim and the real world are quite a bit different ; I guess 6+ months on the sim really does pay off.
