Default RE: Mini Pulse ?

ORIGINAL: dbgood

I just flown my mini pulse xt pnp,yesterday..I i landed it a few times and was fine..On my last flight i was landing it and i had a really soft landing and the landing gear came off,and it took the whole underside with it.I heard a few people who had the same problem with this plane...So i am ordering the mini pulse xt ARF.Does anyone know how i should beef up the landing gear i dont know if epoxy on the inside will really help...Thanks alot,
Danny
A lot of ARF’s have this issue it seems. I always beef up the area with triangle stock and epoxy on my planes. But on something of this size, you may find access to the area difficult (I don’t have the Mini Pulse to look at).

just wondering on my mini pulse if i put a eflite 480,there is 2 one is a 910kv,and the other is 1020.will i get more torque with the 910kv,and more speed with the 1020kv.
Thanks ,
Danny

You are correct in theory…. These two are so close together I don’t think you would notice a huge difference. The main thing you would notice is that flight times with the 1020kv motor will be less as it has a little higher idle current. The motors are the same size and weight and have the same prop range. Using the larger for the 910 kv and the smaller for the 1020 kv motor you will see a fairly significant increase in speed, but using the same prop on both you really won’t notice much.

1020kv @ 11.1v 11322 RPM
910kv @ 11.1v 10101 RPM
