If Top Flight had out their new P-51 out when they were supposed to I could tell you how well they work.
But since we are still waiting for them to finish engineering the retracts that I am not going to use anyway I guess we will all have to wait.

Whats wrong with air retracts? Nothing that I know of but what can be more convenient than electric retracts. I am lazy
Underpowered? The retract servos in my H9 150 P-47 make a similar sound and I know they aren't under powered.
Will a tuff landing ruin the circuit board? A possiblity, but anyone with mechanical retracts has to worry about the same thing. Ever dropped your cell phone on the ground?

Questions are good, nothing wrong with that. Any New technology will get serious scrutiny from the RC community as well it should.
We put a lot of money in our babies and we should expect that all this gear to work well.

I don't mind being the guinea pig on this one. I have talked to Doug and he is a nice guy. I think these guys are on to something here.
If these work well I will make all future retracts electric. Even the big birds. No more airlines to run, no more pumping up air tanks.
I'll give a report on them but it won't be till the end of the month since they won't shipping till then.
